Transferring an Existing SMSF

Moving your existing fund administration to Catalyst Super is simple and straight forward.  Once we have obtained your authority, we can contact your old administrator and facilitate the speedy transfer of your existing documents and information.

1.      You need to:

  • Inform your current administrator that you wish to transfer the administration of your SMSF to Catalyst Super and that you authorise Catalyst Super to request certain information regarding your fund
  • Complete the Catalyst Super Application Form – Existing Funds and return to us

2.      Catalyst Super will:

  •  Review your application and ensure that all required information has been included
  •  Send you the following documents: Service Agreement, Direct Debit Request and Direct Debit Request Service Agreement
  •  Prepare an ATO Change of Address form, minute for the appointment of a service provider, letter of transfer for previous administrator

3.      You need to:

  • Carefully read the Service Agreement, Direct Debit Request and Direct Debit Request Service Agreement, sign and return to us
  • Sign the ATO change of of Address form, minute for the appointment of a service provider, letter of transfer for previous administrator and send back to us
  • Send copies of the documentation requested in the Checklist for new or existing funds

4.      Catalyst Super will:

  • Set up an account for the fund on our online reporting system including all data feeds
  • Send you an email containing the account login and password details
  • Load all CGT information for assets acquired prior to the commencement of the current financial year as well as prior year financial statements, member account balance components and other key information
  • Load transaction details for the current financial year
  • Lodge ATO Change of Address form and forward letter of transfer to the previous administrator
